This landscape is Punta Chueca, the inland coast of the Golf of California, a majestic region populated by the Seri indigenous group, also known as the Comcaac. Made from a Caran d’Ache drawing at Pancho’s ranch, during a visit in 2022, it represents Pancho’s view and his dome-shaped greenhouse. The view of Isla Tiburón and the turquoise water is iconic of the Sonoran coast. Acrylic over canvas, dimensions: 38” x 48”
