One of the assignments in my latest RISD class was to make a cut paper (of painted gouache strips) collage of a still life. This 24” x 30” gouache painting on wood was inspired directly by that assignment. The still life portrays objects that are meaningful to me, a purse I purchased in Oaxaca, Mexico, a polaroid camera, glass traffic cones by iroczii, a ceramic apple core, and coat rack created/painted by Kate Olshefski.
